The toilets and kitchen (the wet
areas) are close to each other so as to decrease the cost of the
plumbing. (decrease in length of water inlet and drainage).
The staircase is accessible from
inside as well as outside. This is good when the owner wants to
let-out the upper floor (which could be a future expansion also)
and the construction would not disturb the entire functioning of
the house.
Though the dining area is in the
centre it is well lit and opens into a small garden. Instead of
a separate door and window one can have French windows which
would let the nature in.
